MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
Judging you by others is inevitable. You are being judged wherever you go and whatever you do. Fro many people who are being judged, the only thing that they do is to accept it or they do not mind whatever the words they may hear. It is as if they hear the words from their right ear and just let it pass in their left ear, for them not to be affected so much. However, have you ever thought what does judging others do in you personally and what its consequences?
To sit around pointing fingers and scrutinizing someone else for the choices they make, and the direction they motivate in, is very wasteful and unproductive. When you pass judgment against others, it makes you insensitive to what others may feel. To stay objective, and understand that, is much better although you may not personally agree with someone’s choices, still you do not have the right to judge.
Each person has different actions and reactions in every situation, it is because each person reacts on situations based on the condition of the situation and based on their characteristics. It is also because they are influenced by their thoughts and feelings. These reactions are usually a mixture of positive and negative responses that needs to view objectively.
We judge ourselves by what we feel capable of doing. While others judge us by what we have already done. As Antoine de Saint-Exupery says, “it is only with the heart that one can see rightly: what is essential is invisible to the eye.” What matters most is the inner and not the outer character or appearance of a person.
Everyone has his or her own lives. Each one of us should walk in our own life, minding our own selves, and our own actions. Just like an old saying goes, “do not judge the book by its cover.” We should not judge by its material content. If we judge someone else, always consider that we also have actions and behaviors that will be judged by others as well. If we judge someone else, we must leave ourselves open to being judge as well. Just put in mind that for every actions we make, never sin against God.
